| 1950 Citroen Traction Avant 15/6 | A rare Traction Avant ("front drive") with a big straight-six-cylinder engine. This one was the personal car of a former Citroen dealership owner and was in storage in his basement for almost 40 years until we purchased it in the fall of 2010. Eventually the car will be restored and enjoyed, but for now we're enjoying its "barn-find" patina. | |
| 1953 Willys Aero Falcon | Did you know that Willys, the famous "Jeep" manufacturer, also made cars for a few years? This is one of them. This particular Aero Falcon was purchased from one of my former co-workers in 2003. It has a fully-known history and only shows 12,347 miles on the odometer. Considering its rust-free condition, that's a very believeable mileage. | |

I found a Craigslist ad in Virginia and was first to call and basically bought it sight-unseen over the phone. Basically a LeBaron with some different bodywork (hood, headlights, etc.) and a really nice leather interior and hardtop. With the Allante and Reatta (all purchased together) it completes our collection of "late-80's American 2-seat Euro-themed luxury sports cars." | |

Jim enjoyed the car one last time at FFO '11 and now it lives in our garage. The Barchetta is everything the 124 Spider would have become, front-wheel-drive excepted. This is the lowest-serial number 500 sold - Prima Edizione #11 (1-10 and 500 were not available to the public for purchase).
