Some funny, mostly-Italian-car-related images we thought we'd share. Some were emailed to us, others Shaun actually photographed himself. Feel free to submit (via email button at the bottom of the page) any you feel should be here as well. ENJOY!

Fiats have always been very advanced for their time. Who said a 1979 model year car couldn't have a sophisticated, digital, computerized self-diagnostic system? Shaun took this actual, undoctored photo of his 1979 Strada trying to tell him it just wasn't feeling well that day. A short time later, this display changed to read "ELI"...I think perhaps it was asking for help from Mirafiori.com's administrator.
The image above was sent to us by good friend Kari, the source of several of these classics. Gives new meaning to "aftermarket air conditioning."
Shaun took this photo while on one of his several cross-country trips with good friend Bubba (Bobby). This guy blew past us at a very high rate of speed, very fitting of his license plate message. Bob was, of course, not averse to stepping on it to catch up to him so I could snap this photo, likely taken at 3-digit speeds somewhere in the wide-open wild west.
This photo was created and used by a major, respected worldwide news service during the 2008 presidential campaign. We won't get all political on you...just love the choice of Bill n' Hill's ride!
Now THAT'S a coffee table! Honey, can we get one? No really, it's also practical...it stores 4 to 8 wine bottles within easy reach!
An enlightened Ferrari owner. A Ferrari owner that's both honest AND humble? Yeah, you're right...must have been Photoshopped.
Another Ferrari, another clever license plate. Shaun snapped this photo of a perfect wording application at a local PA car show.
A practical joke played by friend Todd R. on Mirafiori regular Carl F.'s yellow Brava Wagon (which now resides in the Garagemahal, by the way...but without the pink dots) at a DC Fiats meeting.
Long before Todd R. "polka-dotted" Carl F.'s Fiat, Shaun "spotted" this poor Spider in Tucson, Arizona.
Well, it's an early European Fiat 124 Sedan. Let's see: Trailer hitch, the upside down license plate...oh, and one additional horsepower. Love it!
Shaun captured this image in the deep deep south on one of his cross-country adventures. Kids, now do you see why it's important to learn to read, write, AND know the difference between upper- and lower-case letters?
So Mr. Ford is a big-shot A-list actor here in the U.S., but that doesn't necessarily mean he wouldn't stoop to pick up a few extra easy bucks for hawking a product overseas that he doesn't use and likely knows nothing about.
Think there might be 600 pieces of firewood in there? Shame to use a classic old Fiat like that when a better classic for that application would have been a Cord.
Don't just enjoy the homemade plow...you have to also notice the home-made chains on the drivewheels. Those must be some KILLER windshield wipers!
Does he get inside if it starts raining?
Shaun took this photo while out junkyarding with Kari, who seems to think the owner of that rolloff found the "best and highest use" for his unwanted X1/9.
A plug for some Ontario law firm here on our site? Yep, it may be...but they deserve it - this is a funny ad!
On Tony! On Guido! On Giuseppe! On Lui...oh, wait, it's just Tony.
If Santa can drive a Fiat, then why not the Easter Bunny? Appropriately enough, the Easter Bunny chose a Fiat shaped like an Easter egg.
Okay, so call this the "People Dressed In Funny Costumes" section of the page. "Honey, there's a bee in our car." Must have been attracted to the color.
No, this was NOT one of Shaun's Ironbutt adventures. Had they turned it the other way, they could have taken another 5 passengers along.
Another Fiat 124 Sedan. I could use some help like this. Does Fisher-Price make a "My First Weightlifting Set" for Madelyn?
Now what would Nanci do if Shaun gave her this card?
A 4X419, perhaps? There's also a similar black Spider out there that was for sale in Reno, NV or thereabouts. If anyone has a pic of that car, perhaps you could email it to us so we can post it here as well?
Well, duh! Shaun discovered that there's a place called Fiat, Indiana, and of course had to stop there for this photo with his Fiat 131. Wierdness abounds. First, the town of Fiat is on a road that connects Marion, Indiana to Marion, Ohio, where he was headed to visit friends Jim and Connie. Second, would you ever guess at which highway mile marker Fiat, Indiana is found? Those who guessed "131" get a gold star. Insert Twilight Zone music here...
For some reason, junkyard owners LOVE to use Fiats for advertising. Shaun took this photo of a poor 850 Spider that met a very undignified end to its days.
Yet another "Fiat billboard" - this time a 600 - that Shaun stumbled upon somewhere in the midwest.
Another humiliating end to what was once a great car captured on film by Shaun on his travels.
